Hello! I am Mathias Mayrhofer, and currently I'm a Software Developer at kompany​.

I studied "Media Technology" (Bachelors Degree) and "Interactive Technologies" (Masters degree) at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences. Over the last couple of years, I have come to realize how much i really enjoy coding and creating applications of all kinds. With this regard, i dont really have much of a preference when it comes to tech stacks or programming languages (nowadays i'm doing a lot with React, which i enjoy quite a bit).

Because I discovered my interest in programming only a couple of years ago, I still have a lot to learn. However, I am eager to learn, and consider this to be one of my biggest strengths. I am always willing and open to learn and tackle any technologies or projects, as long as I am given the freedom to grow with the given task.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies a lot. I especially enjoy film festivals, that show a wide variety of movies that you wouldnt otherwise be able to watch in the cinema. I am a massive fan, and yearly visitor of the Viennale​, and have also attended and enjoyed other european film festivals such as the Berlinale​ or Filmfest München. At some point in the future I plan to visit Sundance​ and the Busan International Filmfestival.​
